Color Me Beautiful
In the summer of 2014, Chryssa Wolfe and Hanlon Design Build delivered this stoic home in the highly sought after neighborhood of Wesley Heights, Washington, D.C. The old world facade features a grey stone veneer, curved roof lines, and a Majestic slate roof. The exterior is also enhanced by an elevated stone terrace with an al fresco kitchen, exterior fireplace, bamboo fencing, and a permeable brick paver driveway. Behind the custom mahogany front entrance, lies quite a surprise. Chryssa Wolfe is renowned for her passion for color and creativity. Every now and then Chryssa will encounter a client with an equal zeal for color. This spectacular home was created from such a fortuitous encounter. The result is masterful composition of color, texture, and contrast which emanates from the lighting fixtures to wall paper. Vibrant colors prevail throughout this one of a kind home featuring the kitchen island with custom fabric panels , the eccentric dining room chandelier, the electrifying home gymnasium, and a fabulous sitting room with ceiling hung swings and industrial sliding door. If you have an affinity for color and eccentricity, this is the home for you.
