Our latest creation was recently delivered to delighted homeowners. This project was a total renovation to a dated, rambler style home on Chain Bridge Road in the Palisades which including a total revamping of the interior and exterior as well as substantial additions to the existing foot print of the home.

The transformation was amazing. (See the before / after photos of the home) A new life and vitality was provided to the home which was originally built circa 1940. Highlights of the home include the development a grand entrance with natural stepping stone boulders leading to an impressive stone porch with custom designed iron railings and a dramatic, 3-story Chinese red, hand crafted trellis.

The interior of the home is characterized by unlimited opulence. The stunning bathrooms feature intricate glass tile designs and exotic stonework. Other lavish interior features include forged iron privacy screens, abundant built-in cabinetry featuring thick, natural wood cabinet tops and leather covered doors, and a one of a kind living room mantel integrating a myriad of materials with synergistic composition.

The contemporary, Zen-like feel of the property continues outside with a serene stone terrace with bamboo rails nestled below a pergola with oversized beams. The cladded, French casement windows with retractable screens provide unobstructed panoramic views over the Potomac River. The revitalization of the home also included the mechanical systems.

Geothermal technology was used for the heating and cooling of the house as well as the pool and next generation foam insulation was also installed during the renovation. These building innovations are becoming standard practice in many of our homes.
