Addition - NW Washington DC
Dear Betsy and Chryssa,
I just want to tell you (and Jake and Barry) how pleased Bill and I are with our new porch, deck, and patio. Here are the things that have really impressed us so far:
First, the creative design and clever use of the space. At every turn and angle, I see lines and shapes that delight me. In additional to being functional, the new addition is welcoming, fun, and seamlessly integrated to the design of the original house. When I first saw the drawings, my comment was "I want this now." The actual execution is even better than I anticipated.
Second, the overall quality of the workmanship and professionalism of your crew. Everything appears to have been done with care and attention to detail. Moreover, the workmen we met were unfailingly polite and pleasant to be around.
Third, your undertaking the work in such a timely manner, especially considering the endless rain that seemed to begin as soon as construction started. Your crew made up for much of the lost time by working long hours whenever the weather permitted.
This afternoon I dragged out some old furniture we had in the basement so I could sit on the porch for the first time. I loved it and am really looking forward to furnishing it properly so we can make full use of it next spring.
